About the event
Nagpur once known as the 'City of Gardens', housed numerous theme based gardens and temples built during the Bhosale period. During this walk, we will explore a few of these historic garden temples in the Mahal area. The Bhosales had a deep appreciation for nature, spirituality, architecture and they beautifully combined these elements by constructing temples within the serene and picturesque gardens they established.
As we delve into the past, we will learn about the cultural significance, architectural marvels, and stories behind these temples.
Join us as we uncover the hidden treasures of Nagpur's history about few such garden temples in Mahal at the Bel Bagh, Tulsi Bagh etc.Â
