About the event

Sakkardara precinct, known as Chhota Tajbagh today, was developed during the Bhosale Period. This precinct was one of the places of retreat for the Bhosale kings Shrimant Raje Raghuji II and Shrimant Raje Raghuji IV. It included a lake with a ghat and a gateway, a fountain, a stepwell, a zoo, a beautifully carved temple, and palaces.

Two important saints who were highly revered by Nagpur Bhonsales breathed their last here at the precinct.
